Oh, right. I'll be stitching for 10 hours on something from this list. The list is vaguely in order of how much there is left to stitch. Except those napkin rings. If I hadn't started them with a broken finger, I'd chuck 'em. I'm trying to decide if I should spend time on the ones that are closest to being done so I can have the pleasure of a finish or if I should start something from the bottom of the list which would feel like a new start. (Well, sort of.) Maybe I'll alternate each month. That ought to get me nowhere...
I know I said I would start the Sheepish Seasons as my new year start, but I failed to plan...I had hardly any of the threads. (I rectified this oversight today.) So instead, I started Lilybet Designs' Spots II. I like stitching spot samplers, you get a sense of satisfaction every time you finish a motif! I'll show you that tomorrow.

What a fine list of WIPS - I'm with you, it has got to be fun - I never force myself to stitch on something when I'm not in the mood to work on it.
Yep, I'm in the "has to be fun" camp too (I would probably ditch the napkin rings, for instance ;) ) - good luck with your list this year, you have some nice projects going on there.

As soon as stitching turns into something you have to do instead of something you want to do, it becomes that four-letter word ... work :0 I love looking at everyone's WIP list. They make me feel normal.
I think you should alternate between an almost finished and a just started.

It's funny that you bought the Dickens' Mittens design also. The thing is, I bought the "Thankful" design also (what an amazing design) and thought of you because of the pumpkins!

I'm totally with you on the has to be fun idea. I'm hoping to get some of my WIPs stitched on too this year, but really...I'm just going to stitch whatever the hell I feel like. Can't wait to see your Lilybet Spots. You're right, those spot motifs are like little finishes all in themselves.
WOW! I'd be in OCD meltdown...if I don't work on something and it becomes work, I give it to someone who would enjoy finishing and having it or it gets trashed..I know...I'm wasteful, but it's better than being crazed by my hobby! : )

Great list! Once I finish scanning my recent finishes, I need to make a similar list of my WIPs and decide what I want to work on this year.
