Okay, on to Maggie.
This is a picture of the dude and me from early in our relationship. That's back when, as a 20something, he got his hair cut twice a year, whether he needed it or not. (Sorry about the scans. I can't find my box of post-1980 photos.) (These are from the "Green Card Album.")
So Maggie meets the dude: my whole family came out to a house in Laguna Nigel during our spring break. We had a lot of adventures, including a trip to Disneyland. There, Maggie introduced the dude to Goofy. (She had asked who his favorite character is and the dude is not a Disney fan, so he just pulled a character out of the hat.) "This is Petah," she says, "He came all the way from Livahpool to meet you." (The dude is from Durham, and was living in the US.)
Dude, me, Sissy, Maggie, and my sainted aunt. When was I that skinny? (Don't tell the Fug Girls, but that was a romper.) |

OMG! Look at the two of you! I'm not sure I would have recognized the sassy, non-chalant dude in the first photo. You are gorgeous as ever. Cute cute cute!

Don't you love these long ago photos? None of us look quiet like that anymore.
Your romper brings back memories of my mom and her sewing machine - making up matching jumpsuits for us both. Eek!

Very cool pictures!
Ha, you didn't even have to tell me that was a romper..... I recognized it right away.... I had one that was dark blue and red.... and another that was blue and white. Ahhh, the good old days.

Wow, he's a cutie! And I bet he's got a wonderful accent.
You guys were rocking' the style 'o the day - that's for sure. Pretty cute! Maggie handing the dude a comb? Priceless.
I see now that my blog is at the bottom of your list, sadly neglected by me for over two months. How did that happen? Isn't it still March?
You are both rockin' the 80's outfits, if you ask me, and you look oh so cute! Love the dude's shorts! Rob had a really wild pair of shorts that would rival the dudes; they had pineapples all over them. What he was thinking, I don't know.....
Great photos! Love Maggie's accent!
What a great post! Loved those pictures!
