Today's card comes straight from Australia. Alisa Tilsner created this trifold from designer series paper (DSP). I chose the stripes from Twitterpated (retired) because I liked the range of colors, and I always like to mix stripes with florals. I do wish that I had a better selection of sentiment stamps though. Mine are mostly "thank you" or "happy birthday" in various fonts. The more sentimental sentiments I have are ...not me. Anyway, because Alisa is in Australia, she uses those centimeter things. So I adapted this card a bit.
First, because DSP isn't cardstock weight, the whole card is a bit light. So I added a backing of cardstock in the middle. That is cut to the standard 5.5"x4.25". For the DSP, I cut it 5.25" x 12" and scored at 4" and 8". The innermost white cardstock was cut 5"x3.75".

The inks here are pear pizzazz, rose red (I don't have red riding hood, which is in the DSP), and island indigo. The cardstock was whisper white and pear pizzazz. Swirly bird flowers and the large leaf, and the sail cum leaf--I think that is the only right sized leaf for the large flowers.

Lovely card, Nikki! Love the striped paper!
Another nice card. My Nana used to like a card with a nice verse in it. AKA bad poetry. I prefer blank for own message or a bad joke!
Another great card
