I used unbleached linen and the called-for Anchor floss. (I always get the Anchor floss for the Ewe & Eye designs; there's something different in the quality of the floss that I like for their designs.) Happily, I found all the buttons in my button jar. No idea where they came from or how old they might be but I am pleased with how they look.
I will be back soon with a review of my (pathetic) 2015 stitching and thoughts about stitching in 2016. Until then!

Oh this is so pretty! Love how it came out. What about Anchor floss makes it right for EEF??
A lovely finish - the buttons look perfect.
Congrats on the cute finish Nikki.
Happy New Year,
Linda
Nice finish, love the buttons. I had a pretty pathetic 2015 too, I'm blaming twin toddlers! They're adorable but they do cut into the stitching time a bit. looking forward to your recap and hope you have a stitchy 2016!
Love it! Would never have picked it, but seeing yours has me itching to go through my back issues! Stunning work!
What a sweet finish. I love the pattern....I've been a bit delinquent in my Smalls SAL this year....been distracted by other projects. 2016 - I'll do better.

Really cute little piece. The buttons are fun and an awesome addition.
Nice finish, just in time for the end of the year.
There is a difference in the Anchor colours, if a project is charted in them the conversion doesn't always look right.
I've lost my Bag of Buttons. It's somewhere in the house but not in the cupboard where it's supposed to be.
Great job sticking with it to get the finish! Love the detail the buttons add.
Pretty little finish, so effective.
Wishing you a year filled with happy and fun times and lots of stitching too! Happy New Year.
Oh, this is really lovely. Happy New Year Nikki.
