Twitter

Several years ago, a woman I know told me that Twitter was going to be over soon. Later, around the time the dude joined Twitter, I figured if it didn't implode right then, I should work harder at it (for the animal rescue I volunteer with as well as having it in my back pocket for the job thing). I have a sort of half-assed list of people I follow, and I'm sure I could do better. I'm asking your help.

However, I don't want to follow people who only push links to their Instagram account or their blogs or both. I don't think it's wrong; in fact you should push your other posts, but you definitely have to do more than just push your other social media to entertain me.

Also, if the account is all links to long form, I can't be bothered to click through. The dude uses Twitter as an aggregator but I try to limit the things I read on my phone (and I do Twitter exclusively on my phone).

Stitchers, crafters, funny people, funny people pretending to be animals (I think the dude follows a goat.) (No, I just checked; it's an owl.) Tell me, where's the good stuff?

I'm terrible at Twitter myself, but you can find me @stitchbeetch.

I don't know of any good craft accounts to follow, but one account that I've discovered and love is @BirdsRightsActivist. It's written by a bird (yes, it's a joke) and it's hilarious. Recent topic tweeted: BRA's SuperPECK (get it? it's election time).

Another comedic account: @tinatbh, written from the perspective of Tina Belcher from Bob's Burgers. If you like that show, you need to read this one.

Correction: BirdsRightsActivist is @ProBirdRights

I don't twit, I have enough trouble keeping up with FB and blogs.
The company feed on our intranet is funny because we only see the company's tweets and they all seem to be apologies for mistakes or poor service! Not good :-(

Can't help you as I don't use it.

I don't find twitter good for crafty stuff either. I use it mostly as a news feed for sports and breaking news.

I'm not a twitter/tweeter ? at all and my nod to the 21st century is to say that I do have a Facebook account (which I rarely use). I too am just a boring blogger ;-)
