Plus I decided to make a scrapbook for my sister, but 1) I don't have many photos for it and 2) I kind of want to leave the journaling to her. Do you know how boring scrapbook pages are without photos or writing? Plus, I am not that good at adding embellishments. I use too few, and I forget about the design-triangle thing.
One of the recent prompts involved paper piecing with an example that featured a bunch of punched butterflies. It gave me the idea to go to my favorite punch. (Sadly it broke.) Still, I got a number of flowers out of it. I stuck with a sort of dusty palette. I really love how it came out. Now to try it on a scrapbook page.
Well, now to try any of the ideas on a scrapbook page...

All great looking cards. They are such a lot of work - I hope the recipients truly appreciate them!
Your cards are wonderful. I bookmarked Shimelle's website as I would love to get back to paper crafting at some point. I certainly have a lot of the supplies required gathering dust.
