Maggie Monday: The Medical Edition

My aunt recently took Maggie to the eye doctor's office.  They were sent to a waiting room while her eye dilated.  A woman in a wheelchair was also waiting.  Maggie looks at her and the chair and then asks, "can you walk at all?"  Maggie then points out her orthopedic shoes and says that they are the kind that Connie's doctor wants her to get.  You know, black lace ups.

In fact, Maggie reported that Connie had picked her up for a night out with one white shoe and one black shoe. She proceeded to make fun of her. When my aunt happened to see Connie shortly thereafter, she did indeed have one white shoe (a sneaker) and one black shoe (a walking cast). Don't go looking for sympathy from Maggie!

Now a broken foot/leg is no excuse for a fashion faux pas! I bet Maggie isn't the sort to ask for sympathy either.
