Summer of Love: Hinzeit is 20-20

Thank you for the anniversary wishes and for seeing how truly wonderful the dude is. (And bestpal, of course he kept me, he put me in a pumpkin shell.) We went to Simon Pearce for dinner last night and though we didn't buy the hand-blown water pitcher we both admired, we did see Simon himself having dinner with some minions. (When you are the namesake of the restaurant, do you pay? At least tip, right?) (FYI: I wore these shoes and a sexy white, orange, and brown wrap dress.)

And because it's Thursday and we love us a craft room clear out:

More charts I have written on.
Hinzeit, Shoes * Beer * Family Matters (please note none of these patterns contain the charms)

This selection gives you a little insight into my family. My mom is a shoe collector, or was because now all she owns are flip flops and sandals. My dad is a retired beer wholesaler. And to all of us "family matters." You can see that I did some math on "shoes" because finding a piece of scrap paper was too much work.

To win, tell me which three Hinzeit charts typify your family? This post only. Drawn next Tuesday.

Beer. I'm first generation American, most of my family is in Germany and I spent most of my summers visiting... there was always beer lots and lots of BEER ...

Gotta go with Beer! Not for me so much but my DH can put it away and now, seemingly, so can my sons (both of whom are not legal)... the woes of teenage boys.

Love, love, LOVE the shoes. I have a really cute little orange sundress I'm going to wear to a party and I think those shoes may have to go into my shopping cart. Besides, they'll make me a lot taller and somewhat thinner looking, I hope! Show us a pic of you and the Dude all dolled up. We'd love to see how cute you look!

Beer. Someday I'll write a blog post about it, but many of my early childhood (under 10) memories involve bars.

No need to enter me in the drawing.

Thanks.

OMG! You are too too funny. I love your giveaway and without a doubt...Beer. I'm a whino personally but my dude is a major beer man.

Ah, none of the above? Except the shoes for me. Next time you have to see my closet full of shoes! And almost all of them ARE sandals, so don't say you can ever have enough. I wore a different pair to every session of radiation and didn't wear them all.

Heh... (laughing at your following post)

The three Hinzeit charts that suit my family well are FlipFlops, Golfing, and Seashore (and TuttiFruitti, but shhh on that one.)

Really, if she had designed a third golf related piece I would have put all three of them because my Mom, Dad, BF, brother, and extended family all live and breathe the darned sport, but c'mon. So anything related to the beach, and summer related charts in general, will pull my interests in with theirs.

Okay, I'm going to have to go with Football because DH and I are football fanatics. During football season, it's not unusual for us to watch 2-3 college games on Saturday, 3 games on Sunday (plus pre game and post game), Monday night and Thursday night games. Once, we even watched a broadcast of a Dallas Cowboys game in Danish on the computer because that was the only feed of it we could get (it was on the NFL network before we had NFL network).

I'm also going to pick Lighthouses because we're freaks about that too and have been known to plan entire vacations around lighthouses.

And my final choice is Irish because I'm 1/2 Irish and we both like irish / celtic motifs.

Don't include me in the drawing, however. The charts should go to someone who would stitch them
