More good news: Danielle is the winner of the pillow. (Please e-mail your snail mail address.) There is some bad news there. I had intended to make the piping and sew it together tonight, but the dude wants to take me out to "celebrate" or whatever. So I won't be able to send it until next week. The good news is that it's going to be easier to get to the post office. Lots of people who are owed things will rejoice! (I'm looking at you, Lee.)
Finally, one of my many talents is translating American to English, so I'm sorry to report all you Brits who thought you could resist Ina Garten's siren call with the fleur de sel caramels, golden syrup substitutes for corn syrup. You can't escape.
* Part of my 101 things. I've been posting there again if you've given up on me.

Sorry to hear you lost your job, but maybe that means you can collect unemployment for a while? Not great, but not "nothing". And perhaps you'll find a creative way to make money. Legal and creative, hopefully.
Sorry to hear about your job loss, but I am glad that you are not too upset. Bummer about the mermaid, perhaps you can catch up while you are searching for another job.
Sorry about your job, hope you find a much better one soon.
Well, since we spend SO much time at work I can't say that I am sorry that you lost your job since you were so unhappy there. So I am just going to congratulate you and wish you all the best in finding a job that really makes you happy! Good luck!
I'm so happy for you that you won't be miserable at work and that you have the opportunity to find work that thrills you. Congratulations on being smart enough to let them have the fuzzy part of the lollipop. And thanks for the long list in your other post ... I think I have to try that one.
Sorry for the loss of your job - mine went bye-bye 1 Dec and I'm still looking. On the plus side, there's been lots of time to stitch and read.
Here's hoping you find another job sooner rather than later. Fingers crossed for you (and me)!

I love that your hubby took you out to dinner to celebrate a job loss. He's a keeper.
I just know you'll find something better suited for you....have faith and go for it! With your writing talent, wish big...they'd be lucky to get you!
Hopefully the package I sent you will be there Monday and be a bright spot in your day.
Good luck with the job hunt!
I am sorry to hear the job didn't work out. It sounded so good in the beginning. I'm sure bigger and better things are coming your way.
The job thing sucks, but I think you'll be much happier in the long run - I am! I have become a total slacker on my 101 Things list, which ends in March - ack!
Yuck, I hate hearing about all these lost jobs. You seem to have a good attitude, and hopefully that will translate into a good job for you soon. My positive thoughts are with you!
I'm so sorry about your job ~ but I am glad to hear that it is not a huge loss. Hope you find something much better prontisimo!
I'm sorry about the job - hope this is the start of something great for you.
