Lots of felt: Linda Solovic contributed some cute jack o'lanterns (you can get the idea from the pumpkin in her gallery); Cassi Griffin contributed the felt wreath from last winter; and betz white has a new (petite) version of the cupcake for you to try. There are a set of covers for kitchen canisters, a pillow and table runner, and the santa on the cover. There's felt people! And glitter! Not on the felt, but on those cute retro papier mache ornies that I'd like to try if I weren't absolutely convinced that they would end up looking exactly like shapeless blobs. With glitter.
There are a lot of projects featuring snowmen. There is some punchneedle and two embroidery projects. But the cross-stitch, she is dead.
You know I hate BH&G for their pattern recycling. But I would recommend this one. There's some real cute stuff.
Now can someone please tell me why I cannot find the fricking JCS Halloween issue anywhere?
And let's give a shout-out to bestpal: Happy Birthday!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! - bestpal
Hi Anna, I ordered by from Amy at Down Sunshine Lane. And I think I saw that Drema of Needlecraft Corner has them too. Good Luck .. If I find any in stores around here I'll give a shout out.
I've actually tried a subscription to JCS and I have all my fingers and toes crossed that the paperwork will go through in time for me to receive that issue!
I have a subscription and haven't even received my issue yet. I know they have my current address, because I got the last one since I moved (and it didn't arrive with a forwarding label). I just started the subscription in February or March, so I'm sure it hasn't run out already. I'm waiting for a reply to my inquiry....
I bought an extra one because I thought my subscription copy had been lost in the mail...then it showed up (the same day - go figure) want it? I'd be happy to send it to you.
I think BH&G does a separate Christmas issue devoted solely to cross stitch. At least they did a year or so ago because I bought one. Sorry I can't help with the JCS Halloween issue. I usually rely on Barnes & Noble for cross stitch mags, though.
I haven't been able to track down the JCS Halloween issue either. My Books A Million still has the Christmas preview issue out. Needle Delights recieved their order two weeks ago, but I never seem to be headed in the direction of Pensacola. I love the BH&G Holiday issue, I picked it up a few weeks ago.
Found several things I want to make for friends so I haven't told them about it's awesomeness, LOL
