More Lighthouses

While in Maine, I continued to work on Bent Creek's Lighthouse. Appropriate, no? While this pattern replicates the peeling paint on some "shabby chic" lighthouses, it is a royal pain to follow on the pattern. If I had been at home, I would have made a copy so that I could highlight the stitched section. As it was, I had to count! Can you believe that!? {wink}

Radical thought--you could also make it a freshly painted lighthouse and ignore all those missed stitches. Who would know?

Nice chart as a memento of your trip. I would probably just scatter the unstitched spaces around without looking at the chart at all. But I bet you think of it as a challenge to get them all in the right places!

I did this one for my Mother. It was a pain, but I really like how it turned out. I visit her about 4 times a year and I must say, I admit it every time I visit.
