Doodle

One day when we were coming out of a meeting, my (now departed, sniff) colleague said to me, "You're a doodler." And it's true. Sometimes it's the only thing I can do to pay attention. Research has borne this out.

The latest "in thing" in the UK is mindfulness and part of it is doodling and colouring in the doodles for relaxation.
We are stocking some lovely grown up colouring books which I am real tempted by. The only issue is that it would eat into my stitching time!

What a great doodle Nikki. It would make a great xs design.

Your doodling reminds me of blackwork designs. It is lovely.

Doodling is a creative outlet and great way to get through the endless boring meetings we are faced to endure

I was going to point out the studies about doodling and concentration, but of course you already know. :D Lovely doodle!

I'm a doodler too. Once I had to sit in on a series of conference calls - week after week - and after the 2nd one, I brought a crochet project in with me. It kept me just awake enough through the blathering to pipe up with pertinent comments.
