Stellaboris

Thank you all for your comments about my grandmother. She's a gem. (Or something.) I will ask my aunt to keep us up to date on their outings and her "interactions" with other people because you do seem to enjoy them so much. Her birthday is in three weeks, if you want to send her a card. I'm not collecting them this year, but I'm happy to send her address to you back channel.

I made real headway during my three days with Stellaboris. I added a tail, and did my best to replicate Stella's broken tail. (Shown below.) How did I do?

Also, be sure to vote whether I should undertake to make a craft a day every day in March, National Craft Month.

VERY cute! I keep looking at your stitching and then at Stella and the two are amazingly similar!
I can't believe Maggie is another year older- 91 this year?

No to the craft-a-day. I'd just do one. And not finish it. But that's me. Both Stella-d'oro-bles are lovely.

Boris is a perfect way to honor your own dear Stella. Your aunt must be a saint as your grandmother appears to be a real pip!

I just noticed the emblem on the right side of your blog about 2013 letter writing. Are you really writing a letter everyday or is it emails (not that they shouldn't qualify)? I hadn't heard of that program. But of course you would be cutting edge!!

I love this design and your changes are great. I'll have to look for it. :-) But I'll do a straight tail as at this point Iz hasn't broken her tail. Just about everything else but not her tail. :-)
