It didn't take long once I sat down and put my fingers to fabric.
Dog Lessons for People
Lizzie*Kate
Called for fibers on a random fabric.
Beth at the Strawberry Sampler wondered why they didn't have this model in the shop. I told them for a framing discount, they could display mine for a while. She told me that she could *not* bring one more project to poor Lise after the framing sale. (400 pieces!) I told her the offer was open-ended. It's still good, Beth!
I think I might hang this near Stella's "corner" (where her crate and toys live). Of course, it is for the people and not for the dog so maybe someplace else would be more appropriate?
Stella has made real strides during the inlaws' visit. She's not very good at having new people in the house and usually barks incessantly. In fact she did this the first time they came over, scaring the bejesus out of everyone. My older nephew asked when Stella would be "a normal dog." We put her in her (covered) crate and she barked even from there. It was a nightmare. The next time they were at the house, it was a sunny day so the older nephew took Stella on a walk with the dude supervising. When she returned to the house she was a new dog! No barking. It was a great relief. She even put up with some excessive petting. (She put herself in the crate that time!)
Here's Stella with her gift from the boys who hail from Wimbledon, a can of tennis balls used in the Championship. Every morning since she received them, she's played with them first thing. I think she likes those kids more than she's letting on.

Stella is such a cute dog. Sounds like you had a great visit with family. Either today or tomorrow I will be sending you a picture of my finished challenge. :)
awww bless her cotton paws ... she obviously needed to be bribed with a walk and a tennis ball ... usually works every time ..lol and great finish and I think it should be hung where Stellas stuff is :) love mouse xxxxx
What a great little finish! I used to do the same thing at my needlework store let them borrow it for a shop model for a framing discount.
Great finish! I did it over one for a friend for Christmas. Stella is very cute.
Stella is getting the hang of extra people! Good for her.
Dog Rules - rocks!
Great finish! At least Stella is learning. My friend has a 7 year old lab also named Stella and she likes to jump on everyone. I'm not sure how I feel about a dog jumping up to my shoulders. I usually just wait outside now...lol.
Love your dog lessons! I'm about half way through cat lessons at the moment. Such great designs to stitch!
:)
I have the Alphabet one stitched and waiting to be finished... ;) says wink to me. The one and only time Pixie ever went to her crate (she uses a play pen) to be put in when I wasn't leaving the house was during a Christmas Eve party with lots of family here. She wanted out before the end of the evening, but she had to have a break, too!
Dog Lessons looks great Anna, congratulations on the finish. Stella is certainly a character barking at your visitors, perhaps she wants to be the centre of attention.
I love this chart. I have stitched it twice now. Have yet to frame the second one and hang it on my own wall! :)
