The Wedding

Just back from the wedding.

Thoughts from the trip to Grand Cayman:

  • Every wedding should be a destination wedding.
  • I should live within walking distance to a beach, with water I can walk right into.
  • Stingrays do feel like wet portobello mushrooms.
  • The trip home (especially to Philadelphia) is always longer and crappier than the trip out.
  • The new immigration regulations--especially for green card holders and their families--s-u-c-k.

Weddings are fun!

I LOVE destination weddings - I stood up in one that was in Hawaii. It was a long trip out but SO worth it! The bride is beautiful!

Oh my God what a gorgeous couple! The dress! The shoes! The Jersey! The new Mrs. Jersey!

What a lovely lovely day you must have had.

As for the living on the beach thing....I had a little tiny 200 square foot apartment in Margate that I adored because I could have sand in my shoes within seconds of opening the door.

What in the hell was I thinking when I said "I'm moving back to Indiana now"?!

They look so happy! Congratulations to you and them.
I love beaches too. Now to start on a campaign to convince my daughter she wants this kind of wedding.... she is only 15 so I have some time.

Destination weddings ARE the best! Glad the wedding was nice and you had a great time. And yes, we should all be able to water out our doors for a few steps to the water - the lake, the river, the ocean. The bride sure looks happy.

Beautiful pics! I'm glad that you had a good time. Green card issues suck in general.
