Opinions on the fine crafts involving needles with eyes.
The letter B is great. I am another crazy person that likes French knots. I am about done with one Teresa Layman project and I bought two more because I was afraid I would miss not having a knot project going. This project is a great way to knot and do something besides doll house rugs. (not all that necessary when you don't have a doll house.)
I also love French knots. I learned to do them when I was little and first startd embroidering. I do hate the colonial knot or whatever that thing is called!!This is a lovely piece.Mary in TN
Love how this looks! I don't mind French knots, but whoever did this must have the patience of a saint!
My mom taught me candlewicking before I taught myself cross stitch, so I don't mind French knots at all. If I didn't know those were French knots, I would have thought it was a punch needle design.
My grandmother taught me how to do French knots. I did a couple candlwicking projects before I ever picked up cross stitch!
Oooh - I like this! Very unique idea. I too have a Teresa Layman miniature french knot project that I absolutely love.I'm sure I won't look at fabric quite the same way any more.
Oh. How very cool. Will be checking fabric stash later to see if I have anything or do I need to go shopping so I can try this idea!
This is beautiful. What does the "B" stand for?
♥ this - French knots are very pretty I just don't like making them - I think doing about a gazillion would kill me -
This makes me want to learn french knots.
