You Girls!

I can't believe that this has happened again. I open my big mouth and everyone says, "I'm so glad you said that!" There was this trio of young women with whom I served on a board and they were always telling me that after meetings. Because, yes, I opened my trap and said the mean direct thing (apparently) everyone was thinking.

I have had a fairly low number of comments lately, and yesterday's snarky post tripled the number of comments I've been getting! I guess I have been leaving the "bitch" out of Stitch Bitch too much.

You know, I like comments as much as the next person. You are always welcome to leave one. Should I put up an "I love comments" blinkie to remind you? No, that doesn't seem right to me either.

And thanks for reminding me about the mute button. The dude often listens to live chess commentary (is that an oxymoron?) so you're never sure if the mute is on or not, though it was one of the first buttons I learned to use on the new computer.

I loved the "snarky" post. And yes.......that is one of the many reasons that I always have my sound muted!

I have been a reader but not much of a commenter. I've noticed comments on my blog are also down. I figured everyone was also busy out in their gardens. ;)

Sometimes you just have to call a rose a rose and leave it at that. If people don't like it, they don't have to read it....or comment. What's wrong with giving your opinion? Not a danged thing.

I've been having a mental health month; I've been reading blogs (silently!)and not blogging or commenting much myself.
I've noticed a slow down in a lot of blog writing lately though. Are people outside away from their computers?

I did not think your post was too snarky. Maybe because I agreed with you!

My comments have dropped off too just lately and there have been fewer blog updates - I'm guessing it's a busy, outdoorsy time of year for everyone.

I'm a music-on-blogs hater too and reach for the "off" button on the speaker PDQ if I've accidently left it on.

I try to comment just when I have something to say rather than just to have an extra comment. I guess though that it would be pretty depressing to put your thoughts out there and not have anyone acknowledge them. Know that I am always reading!

You know me -- with three boys playing ball right now, all the end of the school year hoopla, the gardens and just trying to keep up with the laundry, I haven't been leaving as many comments - but I'm here reading and catching up when I can!!

Love it when your snippy!!

I'm still a reasonably faithful reader, though not much of a commenter or faithful keeper of my own blog lately. Chalk that up to the speed-reading I do to keep current on my Google Reader list.

Keep on posting, and I'll keep visiting!

I may not always comment but rest assured that I always read :). I really like how you say things as you see them, I hate confrontation and therefore tend to go with the flow of conversations.
