On Saturday, Sissy and I went to a Stampin' Up 'do. These are the cards we made. I'm sorry that the colors are so off on these. That green and blue card is a really nice green, not so muddy. And the hummingbird card (not my favorite) has more color in the stamped image than shows. Oh well. The butterfly is my favorite, with the blue "gratitude" card a close second.
A lot of people have asked me for the recipe for the cashew scotchies. Unfortunately, I used a cookbook, and we all know and respect copyright. This recipe is similar. But this weekend, at the card making session, we had a dessert cheeseball. It was so good, I made it for Sunday dinner...and I had it for breakfast today. Try it!
Update on the craft room cleanse: I spent 15 more minutes in there and unfortunately found a couple of hundred dollars in checks from my aunt; one was a housewarming gift...and we bought the house in 2005. So apparently there is good reason to clean. Who knew?
Stella is going nuts right now because Red Dog just walked by. (This red golden retriever drives all the dogs on the street crazy. I don't know what it is about him but even the most mild mannered dogs hate Red Dog.) I must go deal with her.

Congratulations on the cleaning progress! I need to follow your example.

The cards are great! Is there a statute of limitations on check cashing??? Now that is a reason to clean!
Oops on the checks! Cute cards.
Lovely cards!
I'm pretty sure you have to cash cheques in 6 months...
The cards look great!
Funny about the checks -I think you should frame one of them and hang it in that room - could be incentive to keep it clean! :)
I'll be cleaning myself today - wonder what I'll find?
Congrats on the cleaning! And the card making. Perhaps you could tell us which cookbook the recipe is in??
