If I did needlepoint, I would totally have to do this adorable mug of hot cocoa from Frank of Mosey and Me.
All these reminiscences of Frank because he's popped up on you.tube.
Shops are giving away a free pattern, piece of fabric, floss, needle, and lesson. To help promote the dying art of cross-stitch?
I think they did this in one take, which is a bit unfortunate. And Frank doesn't do "in your face" that well. Still, I hope it goes viral.

Wow!!! I had no clue! Of course, I've never watched Trading Spaces before so that may be part of the reason. He's a pretty cool guy, Frank! I love the fact that he left education because of his frustration with the teaching to pass tests as opposed to teaching creatively -- yeah Frank!
Yeay for Frank!! I loved him on Trading Spaces... not super big on their designs but I do think they're cute. I'm so glad he's doing this--maybe it will inspire more people to stitch. I think it's important to get people into the brick and mortar shops, too, to support the industry. Go Frank!
Hope you're feeling better!
No idea what Trading Spaces is. And Frank's delivery could've used another practice run, LOL. But I think anything that gets some interest going is a good thing - the more the merrier, right? :)
Saw this little reel and thought it was nice of him to promote the crafts. CJ ok;-)
I didn't know, either. I heart Frank and his flaming red heart
Yeah for Frank!
*applause*
Why am I here? I should be stitching...LOL
It's a nice idea, but I agree that the in-your-face thing doesn't come off well. I'm also disappointed by the chart. It is missing a lot of information that people new to cross stitch need to be introduced to: colour key, stitch count, suggested materials. All it is is a chart.
Regardless, I hope it helps. But how is it being promoted beyond the Hoffman site? Will non-cross stitchers even see it?
I had no clue. Now I am amused.
that *is* a cute mug... I may have to investigate his NP canvases!
I love Frank. Although I loved him first on Trading Spaces, then of course the fact that he's Mosey 'n Me endeared him to me. Love that hot cocoa pattern....so cute!
