Here's Something I Haven't Shown You

Here's my Christmas Fair and Square that I sent to Paula D. It's from A Cross Stitch Christmas: Handmade Heirlooms (c 2002). You should be able to tell it's Lizzie*Kate. I designed the signature square using elements from the original. I had to imagine what some of the other letters and the numbers would look like based on the charted "Happy Holidays."

Hope you had a Merry Christmas yourselves.

Cute! Here's an addition to the meme: As receiver of gift: handmade or store-bought? (Betting there's no question when the giver...) Merry Christmas! The picking up Chinese thing in your jammies? Brilliant, and something I'm going to propose for next year.

Wonderful squares! I always like seeing how everyone does their personalised square.

Glenna, of course I appreciate a handmade gift. My cousin made me fleece pajama pants one Christmas. I still wear them even though they're 4" too short. (She knows I'm 4" shorter than she is and just cut off four inches, but I am all leg and she is all torso and our legs are the same length!) I cherish those.
