Mother's Day Roundabout kit
There's no way that I could have finished this one and had it come out remotely circular. The finishing fabric was something I had in my stash. I think I bought it to finish this ornament. I had a ton left over. It matches perfectly. I'm so happy, and I'm sure my mom will love it! I can't wait for her to get here Friday so I can give it to her. (She'll be gone by mother's day.)

Oh, those did turn out great. Thanks for posting the pics.

No wonder you're smiling all over the place. Both pieces are great! I'm with you on not being able to have the piece for your mom turn out that beautifully circular. And Mona did a fantastic job on the Santa standup! Love it!
Beautiful finishing- you have every right to be thrilled!
And DO put Santa out in July!
Cute cute cute!!! That Santa deserves to be out all year.
Great finishes... I'd leave Santa up all year. But then again, I have a permanent Christmas tree (modestly decorated, of course) up on my plant shelf in the living room ;)
Lovely finishes!
I wish the UK Mother's Day was in May and not March, I might possibly stand a chance of finishing something for her ... ;o)
What lovely finishes. They really show off your beautiful stitching, too. I really like the roundabout in particular.
Your Mother's Day piece is fabulous! I havn't quite figured out what to do for my Mom & MIL. The Santa is awesome -- Yes, I agree, should be out for Christmas in July.
Is your finger any better? Oh, I'm just feeling for you this a.m. Kitchen injuries are the worst.
EXCELLENT finishing!! Circles (and hearts) just defeat me ... I'm really impressed!
