Caveat Emptor

When you think you're going to get a great deal because an ONS is having a sale, be sure to check the shipping policy. It's no good saving $18 on the materials for a Shepherd's Bush stocking if they're going to charge you $12 to ship UPS (for a one pound package? Is the insurance worth all that?). Might as well go to the LNS when they're having 10% off if you're only going to save $6. Just sayin'.

$12 for a 1 pound package?? Are they insane? Nothing like making an additional profit by a huge shipping upcharge!

I don't object to a couple dollars upcharge, just to take into account the box/envelope, bubble wrap, time, etc...but that much of an upcharge can't really be justitfied, IMO. Well, it can - GREED.

$12 is insane. And I would object to an upcharge if the materials came packaged in post-office supplied packagine. If they're shipping priority mail, they get the packaging for free at the post office.

My son's favorite tree is a willow tree. Lovely stitching! I am stitching a willow tree in block 2 of Village of Hawk Run, planted beside the church, makes sense now.
