Mission Accomplished

I finished Summer Place today in just a few hours, as I suspected. I wish this picture were better, but I'm stuck with the camera phone until I manage to get myself somewhere where they sell cameras.

I didn't paint the bathrooms this weekend. I just couldn't motivate myself. I didn't let the weekend go to waste, though; I started decorating for Christmas. Yes, before Thanksgiving. So gauche. But I'm not going to be here next weekend and the weekend after I'll be preparing for my trip (and we do have an itinerary at long last). I guess this means I'll be painting up a storm when I get back from England. And if I don't everyone who complains can take a big bite out of my ass.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. Looks like summer already.

"where they sell cameras", ah. You are there already. The INTERNET. Haven't been in a camera store in years. Oh, you like to hold one first. (We check the camera booths at CES and MacWorld.) OK, go to a store, and still buy it on the net. No tax and a lot cheaper.

This should get you started.

I'd really rather people would take a big bite out of my thigh. Well, each of them, to keep things balanced. ;)

Your finish is great - congratulations!!

Love Summer Place - congrats on getting it finished. I am determined to finish Baby Garden THIS WEEK! I am so tired of stitching on it. It may be a long time before I do any more gift stitching. I admire you for all the gifts you make. I'd love to make a tree skirt too, but not sure what I want. Tell me your vision for a tree skirt. Have you put up your cute Christmas wreath you made yet?

I won't tell about your Christmas decorating before Thanksgiving if you don't tell that while you were decorating I was playing Christmas music at the office. :)

Your Summer Place is wonderful. Congrats!

Hi Anna,

This piece is a spectacular stitch with vibrant and cozy colors.

I linked here from Sharon B's post about comments and wanted to say that anything positive is welcome in a comment, I love getting everyone's comments and their perspective on my posts. I usually keep most of my posts about my cross stitching.

Summer Place is gorgeous! This is a must stitch for me, maybe a start for sometime in the spring. I hadn't even noticed it until you started stitching it.

Congratulations on the finish!
