Buried

Sorry I haven't updated lately; I am just snowed under at work. And stitching has been overtaken by reading--I started a book at the beach and have been reading instead of stitching on my commute. I managed Janet Evanovich's Twelve Sharp, Sarah Paretsky's Fire Sale, and Sue Grafton's S is for Silence since Saturday.

When I went back to the project I was working on, pictured, I realized I had screwed up and I spent my morning taking out some of the wing.

It's nice to take some time to read, I've been doing that myself. Love the little stork - very cute!

All three books sound great. I enjoyed Water for Elephants. Now, I'm reading "theft, a love story" which is about an artist who is past his heyday. Now involved with an art theft (I think) I'm near the beginning of the story.

Enjoy the day -- stitching or reading or a bit of both

Love the stork! Books have been a nice diversion lately here too. Did you enjoy S is for Silence? I haven't had a chance to read it yet.

I did like S is for Silence. In it, she tries to solve a 34 year old mystery. There's lots of interesting thinking about how we present ourselves, what "truth" is, etc. And of course, I just breezed through it.
