This is Lapland Santa designed by Sandra Cozzolino for Mill Hill, part of the Arctic Circle Santas. I was rooting around on the blog to see that the last time I worked on this was in 2015? Can that be true?
In this session Santa gained two feet but the reindeer lost one. I guess that means I'm not perfect!
I think I am going to put this one and a few of the other smaller pieces on my three-day rotation in December. I have about 37 projects going and I think that may be too many. They aren't seeing the light of day for years at a time! We must put a stop to this madness. I forsee focusing on what I've got going and not many new starts in {gasp!} 2018.
Glad Santa gained his feet; sorry the reindeer lost one.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean as I have about the same number of projects on the go. Most of them rarely ever get out of the WIP boxes. I should really have a year without new starts - but is this possible? I don't think so, lol. I'm curious to see what you will do in 2018 ...
ReplyDeleteEasier said than done! I'm so much better at starting things than finishing them. I'm like Brigitte, curious to see what you will do next year.
ReplyDeleteI love the way the Mill Hill kits look when finished, but I don't love working on perforated paper. :( I've tried, it just isn't my thing....
ReplyDeleteSince you are cutting back on your own starts, I started something new for you! LOL
I really must try stitching on paper, yours looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteSanta looks great Nikki. I have lots of the houses, etc. but have never done one.

Good luck with tackling the WIPs. I recently took a look at all of my supplies and thought that I should stop buying more until I use up what I already have. A crazy thought, I know!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are a nice set. Good idea to focus on some smalls and clear the WIP list a bit.
