I'm not going to lie, I left it a little late tonight. (Well, we did take Stella on a five mile walk through Valley Forge and then had Easter dinner (and egg hunts) with the family.)
Time limitations notwithstanding, the directions I had led to a little frustration. The dude talked me down, and then I did a little googling. You do not want to work from the star card I pinned. (I will replace the pin in the morning.)
You do want to work from Deb Valder's directions. She has a video (that includes measurements not only for the card, but for the decoration bits as well). I didn't get to finish decorating it before bedtime, but I did perfect the fold, and that's what Sundays have been about this month. I'm pretty excited about this one because it's not as hard as the early attempts would have you believe!
Very pretty Nikki.

Oh wow, very cool! That's intriguing. Kind of scares me, though, because it reminds me a bit of origami.
ReplyDeleteVery cool looking! It does kind of remind me of origami. Did Stella enjoy her walk through Valley Forge?
ReplyDeleteIs this all one piece of paper? I showed my son the exploding books this weekend and said he has to make one himself instead of being "bored". Watch this space. Or the equivalent space on my blog.
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous, but looking at it reminds me of how I am not only all thumbs, but apparently thumbs collected from different individuals.
ReplyDeleteGlad you found some better instructions - makes such a difference.
