Banners

It's Scrappy Saturday!

For this idea, I started here (it's card number 5). When I saw the scrap of pink birthday paper, I was pulled down the pink rabbit hole. Do you ever do that? Set out to do a thing and end up working with a limited color family? I have so so so very many scraps that I can't see them all at once, so I think this is my way of setting limitations. (Otherwise, I'd get nothing at all done.)

Then I saw a vertical version, and got back to work.
Thank you for visiting and your comments. I feel like I have the energy to continue this crazy scheme, but only because your notes got me through last week!

  1. Very sweet. I like both directions and I'm especially fond of that Valentine's Day one in the upper left.

  2. Super looking cards! There are many possibilities -- assorted holidays, birthdays, thinking of you, congratulations. Depending on the paper used, they could be masculine, feminine or kid! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  5. Love the cards! I'm always drawn to the same colors, no matter what the projecting it's hard for me to deviate from those. Your color selections are fabulous!

  6. Really nice cards! You've inspired me again! I have lots of cards on hand. I used to give my Mom packets of cards to send as gifts. She loved them as gifts and at her memorial service two years ago several people mentioned how they loved the cards she sent them.

  8. Great cards. The vertical one looks like a row of ties. I remember the Tie-craft posts from a previous year!

  9. These cards are all wonderful, and thank goodness for some of those rabbit holes. They lead us to great places sometimes.

I've been gone for ten days with no wifi (I know!), but I'm going back to what I missed and reading your crafty posts. Your blog is a wealth of knowledge.
