Defeat: Tape Measure Cover

I've been defeated by a tape measure cover. I simply couldn't turn a half inch tube. I did give it an honest try, working on it for an hour. Frankly, I'm not sure it's possible. I'm going to skip it for now and work on the projects that I had planned this week, and possibly return to it over the weekend. Or maybe burn it in a spectacular way.

Some ways to cover a tape measure:

Yoyo cover

  2. I know how frustrating that can be, turned many a tubes in my life of sewing clothes for my kids. I have a niffy little tool I got probably 30 years ago for turning things. It looks like bow-legged tweezers or tongs I did see something not too long ago at a sewing center for turning small tubes because I got it for my sister for her teddy bears. Hang in there, you'll get it.

  5. hellooo ... there are a couple of things you can use .. one a kinda crochet hook that you use to grab the top of the fabric and pull it through ... make sure you have a long length of thread left at the end of the tube to thread a strong needle and use that to go through and pull through from the other end , or you could even use a knitting needle to pull the wee tube onto and roll down it to turn the right side or use something else ..lol ... good luck :) love mouse xxxxx

  6. Burn it! In a creative pyromanic kind of way.
