Unfortunately we were not among the powerless--instead of stitching I did laundry and cleaned.
But when I do take up the needle, I've been working on the mermaid as promised. This is what she looked like the last time I had her out. Actually, you can probably just scroll down and see both at once, but for posterity I'll add the link. I've concentrated on the area that I guess would be her knees.
I'm joining in on Pintangle's Work in Progress Wednesday so that I can be held accountable.
Thanks for stopping by.
She's looking good Nikki.

ReplyDeleteLittle by little...
ReplyDeleteSo glad you guys still had power :)
Hopefully having to do the laundry and the housework helped warm you up :) You're making good progress....jeep on plodding along!
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful! Look forward to seeing your progress. Sorry about the crummy winter weather you guys are dealing with.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work! WIPW is a great way to keep stitching!
ReplyDeleteLove the mermaid! Hey, be glad you kept your power. Sounds to me like you got the best of both worlds -- no work cause of power outage, but you're still nice and warm and toasty!
ReplyDeleteLOOKING GREAT!!!
ReplyDeleteGo! Go! Go! :)
I'm jealous! I would love it if my employer would cancel work on account of the weather. Sno not going to happen. Sounds like you had a good day. Wonderful work!
ReplyDeleteNice going! i think you're better off with power at home... makes it easier to stitch, probably :-)
ReplyDeleteNice progress!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had enough weather to get any time off. Yet.
