Hahahaha, I love it. I've found floss on the tub floor while taking a shower, and I've found it in my bed even though I don't stitch in bed, but I've never done that. Not knowingly, anyway. ;)
I've needlepointed through the skirt of a dress and stabbed my face with a long stitching strand. Neither of which I've acknowledged publically. Busted!
I frequently park needles in my clothes. I also used to stitch in the car in the wee hours of the morning while my daughter attended a before-school program. So yeah, needle in the pants leg while behind the wheel? Definitely been there done that.
I haven't left a needle in my clothes yet..But everyone from the husband..son..and dog have been known to leave the house with floss stuck to their clothes or fur..LOL!!
No, but I have chipped a tooth from trying to use my teeth to pull it out of some fabric. The dentist said usually he sees that from fisherman making lures.
Usually it's the shirt. I stopped for a verrrry long time when I lost one in the kid's crib. SOmewhere around high school (them not me) I started again. Now youngest daughter has said, not around her kiddie.
A few years ago we were in a car accident - idiot went thru a stop sign and nailed us. Imagine the look on the doctor's face a few days later when I complained about a sore finger - x-ray showed the needle I had been using ended up in my finger. That story never fails to gross out my kids and let's face it just about anyone who doesn't cross stitch.

ReplyDeleteYes. Usually the needle is in my shirt, though, instead of my pants.
ReplyDeleteYes I have...it's especially good when you get to work and someone asks what that string is hanging from the leg of your pants!

I've gone out more than once with scissor stuck down my bra. There's lots of room for them to get lost down there.
