I'm not sure if my favorite part of this menu I created in 1977 is that the beverages list includes 'booze' or that the above is "served with gravy if desired." There are no italics but you can tell. (I still don't eat gravy.)
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thursday to my non-American friends!
Anna: Of course booze is my favorite I need it to put up with our crazy family.

My husband is with you about the gravy. I attribute that to his being from New York, New York. I, on the other hand, am Southern and the more gravy the better. In fact, we have cooked almost everything on our menu during this last week--and tomorrow I get to make the gravy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great momento! Happy Turkey Day! PS I am all about the gravy...on everything!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great menu! 1977! No Thanksgiving holiday in Japan, but that's okay. I can be thankful without all the hoopla. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteA Roast without gravy? How bizarre! Lovely menu apart from that. It reminds me of the Breakfast in Bed menu we made for our parents one year. Everything was really expensive except toast and instant coffee because we could make that. Those were OTH - on the house! We spent more time drawing the menu than preparing the breakfast.
