Eating: Lobster, all I can stuff into myself while we were in Maine! (That's a baked-stuffed lobster with three giant scallops on top!) (And lobster number three...)
Listening: The dude and I are listening to Bill Bryson's The Road to Little Dribbling. He cracks us up. I still maintain he was writing about my MIL in Notes from a Small Island.
Wearing: Sandals
Feeling: Relaxed, at last
Weather: Warm enough for the beach, and cool enough to sleep at night
Wanting: More time off...
Enjoying: The ocean. I swear I was a mermaid in a previous life. Unless mermaids were river creatures, then I was a narwhal or something.
Surprised by: Through Facebook, I managed to get together with a high school friend that I haven't seen since college! (We think it's been 30 years!)
You look very relaxed and happy, the high life obviously agrees with you.
ReplyDeleteLobster still seems "posh" to me although I think you've said before it isn't really in many areas of the States. The seaside ones mostly!
You look very much in vacation mode and that food looks scrumptious. Enjoy your time.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfectly lovely time. Enjoy your lobster and scallops! I LOVE seafood and used to gorge on prawns and lobster when I vacations in Mexico.
ReplyDeleteI had to re-read the statement about eating 3 lobsters. The second-time it hit me that perhaps they were at 3 different meals. I had visions of table covered with the detritus of 3 lobsters! I had a chuckle. Glad you're having a good time.
