Hawaiian Santa was next on my rotation. Unfortunately on Monday, with the weather turning so much colder, it was necessary for me to use my time sewing buttons on the dude's winter coat. Since that was also my first day back to work since December 23, I was a little sleepy and spent the rest of the night playing stupid computer games. I rebounded well on Tuesday and was able to put some time into beading the Santa. I will work on it tonight too, and I'm looking forward to that. I especially love beading these Santas because that means I'm in the home stretch!
Glad to hear your doing better Nikki. Love the Santa.

I have just read your previous post, your fall sounds very scary. But so good to know that you are already feeling better. To train how to fall when skiing seems to be a good thing. for other falls too.
ReplyDeleteThis Santa is so funny, it just makes me laugh to look at him, lol.
He's fun
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you are improving!
ReplyDeleteThis cold is shocking after the crazy warm temps that we have had.
That Hawaiian guy is looking great!
Oh my goodness. So sorry to read about your fall. Glad you're getting better. Take care and stay warm

Don't you just love those "stupid computer games"
ReplyDeleteThe Hawaiian Santa makes me grin. I really like his print shirt.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're on the mend, Nikki! My laundry is in the basement too and I fear having a similar accident.
ReplyDeleteCool dude! Didn't realize Santa shed his beard while on holidays. lol
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're getting around okay.
Love your Santa! OK, your fall down the stairs is exactly what I'm afraid will happen to me someday. Our laundry is in our basement -- the unfinished, concrete everywhere basement. I hate going down and up with the laundry. I'm always afraid I will take a dive. I'm so so glad your accident wasn't worse than it was. Hope that nasty bruise heals quickly and you are feeling normal again soon. (I actually fell in the movie theater when we went to see Star Wars. Couldn't sleep on the side I usually sleep on for a day or two. Ugh.)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're recovering. It's interesting to hear about the location of the laundry rooms. In older British houses the washing machine would be in the kitchen where the plumbing is and near the back door so you can hang it outside to dry. In larger newer builds there might be a utility room next to the kitchen but still near the back door for convenience.
ReplyDeleteLove the Seaside Santa too.
Glad to hear you're recovering!
