Thank you for your comments. I am falling behind on following your blogs and on responding to your comments, but trust me you are keeping me out of the pit of despair.
So many things I would have done differently on these, like using the blue paint I bought and making a Superman ornie! (I had a brain freeze when I was making the strawberries and started using red paint everywhere.) Like buying glass instead of acrylic (apparently it's too much to ask to have the glass ones available when it's not Christmas). And, I thought of an awesome thing to do for my Minecraft crazy nephews after I had poured red and gray paint into the balls. (Green paint. Black vinyl squares!) But that's not what I did. I did this: Superhero ornaments
You are doing good for working full time and everything. JUst hang in there, you are almost at the halfay mark then it's all downhill!

Another super cute idea, and one that's not too difficult (with the possible exception of cutting the logos out).
ReplyDeleteYou really are doing great, Nikki. I look forward to your posts. :)
You Rd always so hard on yourself! They're "super" cute!
ReplyDeleteAwesome, there are a lot of people who would love these!
ReplyDeleteI think you're doing amazingly well coming up with a new idea to entertain and inspire us! These are cute!
ReplyDeleteFabulous! I can see me making something like these.
ReplyDeleteThat's how it goes! You get started crafting and the ideas start to flow. Keep a list of your ideas and maybe you can get back to it when you have the supplies. :)
ReplyDeleteThey look great!
ReplyDeleteAnd, Minecraft ornaments? I might have to file that away for a Christmas craft idea for the little man. Thanks.
These may be my favorite so far for this month. Now, how am I going to remember them for next Christmas?
ReplyDeleteHappy Crafting Month!
It's got to be difficult to find 31 crafts that are simple enough to complete in the hour or so you have at the end of a busy day ... and, moreover, to find 31 crafts that are things you would actually enjoy making and using or gifting. I am not sure I could manage it without resorting to what I call kiddie crafts that I use in the classroom or that hark back to the days when I was a Scout leader.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been pleased with the glass ornaments lately - they're MUCH thinner than they used to be and very brittle, it seems. Maybe because I bought the ones in the 6 pack. The acrylic ones seemed to work better for me - I did the glitter and floor polish ones with scrapbooking stickers.
ReplyDeleteDid you look at Hobby Lobby for the glass ornaments? They have them at my local HL back in the section with the craft bottles and jars.
