I did it! I worked on the marquoir. I worked on section 7a and 8a. It's not much but the last time I worked on it was in September 2011. The last time I showed a picture was March 2011.
If you'd like to see to scale, check here.
I didn't get as much time on this as I would have liked because I had to go to a fundraiser for the rescue organization I work for. Good thing we went because the dude won a bottle of scotch and some cigars!
I find it such a comfort to know there is at least one other stitcher with a WIP list as long as mine and a list, moreover, that includes projects more than a year or two "in progress".
ReplyDeleteInclude me in the group with projects more than a year or two in progress. There are so many I want to get back to, but the new ones I keep starting get in the way! The marquoir is beautiful! Congratulations on working on it again.
ReplyDeleteI went back as you suggested and my reaction to the cheaters and 40 count is that at about 65 or so you'll have cataract surgery and a whole new world will open up (again).
ReplyDeleteA life without cheaters is marvelous even considering one must pay the price of getting older to reap it!
Nice to see this one in your rotation! I have those WIPS that have been languishing for years.
ReplyDeleteWonderful progress Nikki. Nice to see and oldie. lol

I'm thinking "No, I haven't got anything that old" then I start looking back through my blog and thinking "haven't worked on that for a couple of months...about 24 months to be exact!"
