I'm missing my doggy while I am down here with my dad. But I was able to finish my version of Boris, which is has been translated to look a little more like Stella.
Yesterday I popped over to Needlepoint Ivy in town to replace my missing scissors. (I am really hoping I've left them behind.) And got a cute pair of Emily Gingher's. I also picked up a Mill Hill Buttons and Beads kit and one of those magnetic wands. I think my dad really liked that one, so I'll have to keep it in mind for Christmas. (He's super hard to buy for.)
Lovely finish! How old is your puppy?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great finish Nikki. It does look like your furbaby.

Stella is adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove that you make your stitching to match her. :) Oh, the needle store trip sounded fun, too. Looking forward to see what you stitch up next.
Nice finish! Hope your visit is going well and your doggy isn't missing you too much.
ReplyDeleteLove your Boris! Stella is pretty cute too.
ReplyDeleteNice, very nice. Boris looks like a littermate of your puppydog.
ReplyDeleteDarling finish - and some pretty great shopping, too!
ReplyDeleteGreat finish, congratulations!
ReplyDeleteLove Boris - such a cute piece! Poor Stella must miss you. I can't imagine that she would put on a Boris face though! ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful.
ReplyDeleteBoris always makes me smile--such a fun finish!! Hope you find those missing scissors--I just found a pair deep, deep down under the cushion of my stitching chair that had been missing for three years!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it!!
ReplyDeleteNice stitching, you could knit Stella a matching floral waistcoat now.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your finish
ReplyDeleteBoris is sweet! I bet Stella is missing you too. Hope your Dad is doing better/well and how nice you could spend his birthday together.
