You know I have a tendency to give a pass to the crazy Jemini Designs birds when I review the ornament issue. I couldn't resist adding one of hers to my list for this stitchalong. I have no idea why I chose this otter over, say, the flamingo I love so well.
I've ordered the buttons, and I'll give him a press before I put those, and the sparkle-plenty seaweed, on. But the stitching is finished!

A Christmas otter is a litte weird, but he is certainly very cute. Add enough bling and he'll fit right in on your tree!
ReplyDeleteCute! I love otters!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute ornament! I found your blog from the Ornament SAL check-in.
ReplyDeleteCute!! I hope you share another picture once the button and sparkly seaweed are attached.

ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this - I hadn't even remembered this cute otter in this issue. However my daughter is graduating from California State University in Monterey Bay in a few months - and their mascot is an otter of course! (nothing hotter than being an otter)
ReplyDeleteSo something quick and cute for this Christmas for her.
I just went and pulled out my copy of the magazine and will add this to the ever growing to-stitch pile :)
He's otterly adorable. (You are welcome.)
ReplyDeleteAawww! Love.
ReplyDeleteAn otter could stay out year round, could he not? That way you can enjoy him all year and not just at Christmas! He's adorable!!
ReplyDeleteI think he's cute too!
ReplyDeleteYou've just reminded me that I need to find my version that I stitched last year and finish him up for L. Crud.
