There are days you regret signing up for NaBloPoMo. This is one of them. After I took Stella on her walk, I did some puzzles in the newspaper, dicked around on the computer for a while, and had some leftovers for lunch. Then I finally made myself clean my room. (What am I, a teenager?) I started on my side of the bed and got halfway around the room. When I got to the bucket of the dude's winter clothes, I put them away and put the summer clothes in the basement. (Yes, the winter stuff never made it out of the bedroom.) I took all that clothes that ends up piled on the bench at the end of the bed, and folded it and put it away. I used four Swiffer dusters. I vacuumed up a Stella's worth of dog hair. Oh, and I washed
and folded three loads of laundry.

You were boring today. |
I had to stop before the room was completely clean. Which meant the dude didn't notice I had done anything at all.
Kind of like if I showed you any of my stitching...
I hate housework. But hate a dirty house more. And I hate untidy. So I force myself to make my world pretty. (I'd rather be stitching)...
ReplyDeleteStella doesn'y pull any punches, does she? lol
ReplyDeleteI'd missed that you were doing NaBloPoMo. I don't envy you. :D
ReplyDeleteI feel your NaBloPoMO pain!
ReplyDeletea Stella's worth
ReplyDeleteHee!
Days like this are a pain, but necessary...
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous that you could get your laundry washed AND folded, I have good intentions but never seem to get that far ;)
Evidently, I CAN stand it so I stitch! Thank goodness poodles don't shed or we would drown.
ReplyDeleteDoes Stella play with the toys in her crate? I can never tell if Pixie's have been moved. Maybe she just puts them back in the same place. I had a dachshund once who put all her toys under a rocking chair - she also had other psychotic behaviors.
