I did it. And not just finished, but finished finished! Here it is on the runway:
I'm not sure I'm crazy about the way the owl looks with thread wound around it, which sort of defeats the purpose. When I finish using this black floss, I may leave the owl without a purpose in life besides being pretty. Kinda like me...
Oooo, it's awesomely spooky! What a wonderful finish, Nikki!
ReplyDeleteI'm not too crazy about the wound thread either.
Very cute! And a nice job of finishing. There's nothing wrong with being decorative.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I find the wound thread rather cute with the owl peeping out behind it.
ReplyDeleteBut without thread he might even be cuter. And that's already a good purpose. Nothing wrong with sitting pretty. Owls do that a lot in real life too.
Sometimes being pretty in and of itself is more than enough!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a finish finish! It looks fabulous!
ReplyDeletesuper cool!
ReplyDelete(maybe you should cross way less thread.. maybe.. :D)
Well done! It does seem a bit silly covering the owl, the bit I can see looks gorgeous. He deserves more air!
ReplyDeletePretty! Great job! How big is the owl? Can he be a scissor fob?
ReplyDeleteI love the turtle one in this series, but have not gotten it due to $$!
ReplyDeleteDarling!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute!! Love it. x
ReplyDeleteLovely holder and I'd keep the owl thread-free. He's too cute to be covered up!
