Summertime and the Livin' is Easy
July's goals included:
See a movie --we didn't get to one this month.
Read two books--Friends, Lovers, Chocolate by Alexander McCall Smith--I keep wanting to like Isabel Dalhousie a lot more than I do--and A Room Full of Bones by Elly Griffiths.
Start a punch needle design--I did go through my designs and choose one to start, but I don't think I have the right needle, and I need to get some floss.
Enjoy the garden!--that was easy, even if I did have weeding to do.
For August, I'd really like to have a finish or two.
See a movie
Read two books
Focus on Star Light Star Bright until it is done
Return to Owl Winder Pocket
If the two above get finished, return to That Dern Parrot
I agree about Dalhousie, and I've really tried. An author I have recently loved is Kristin Cashore who writes fantasy for young adults. She has 3 and they were each equally wonderful.
Thanks for the introduction to Elly Griffiths. I have the fourth book waiting for me to collect from the library. Ruth Galloway may be eccentric in many ways but I love the books.

ReplyDeleteJust think how much we wouldn't get done if we didn't have goals! Well done, you!
ReplyDeleteNice going on Star Light Star Bright - the colours are lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors in Star Light. And good job on getting those goals accomplished.
