In May, I planned to:
- See a movie--on June 1st we saw Dark Shadows. Rentworthy, which is perhaps more praise than it deserves.
- Read two books--read Possession by AS Byatt and Last Seen Wearing by Colin Dexter
- Work on Star Light Star Bright--I did. I even got the library one Friday for some stitching.
- 10 hours on another project--perhaps you will not be surprised to hear I did not. But I did show you my garden, right?
June found me unable to make particular plans, but I:
- See a movie--we're going today, Bernie or Best Exotic Marigold Hotel or Moonrise Kingdom or...
- Read two books--I think I found where much of my time went this month; I read over 1300 pages: Too Many Clients (Nero Wolfe), Pride and Prescience (A Mr. and Mrs. Darcy mystery, which sucked balls), The Janus Stone (Ruth Galloway mystery), and The Alienist, which was awesome.
- Worked on Star Light Star Bright
- Worked at least 10 hours on A Mind Independent and Free
- See a movie
- Read two books
- Yikes, anniversary present!!
- 10 hours on Star Light Star Bright
- 10 hours on Independent Mind
- Start a punch needle design
- Enjoy the garden!
If you do nothing else Anna, make sure you do take time to enjoy the garden!
ReplyDeleteI like that last one! Make the most of it while it's sunny.
ReplyDeleteYour garden is looking great! Your MIL would be so proud of you!

Wow, the garden is great. We are trying to salvage a bit of ours in the 100 degree heat.
ReplyDeleteI particularly like the willow sampler. I never thought of using two frames.
The only book I recognize is The Alienist and it is one of my all time favorite books. His subsequent one not as great.
