"Cross-Stitched iPhone Cases Are Cooler than Your Grandma," you can tell this isn't going to go well. Oh, and btw, my grandmother kicks ass!
You might think cross-stitching is for bored Puritans and nursing home artists—and maybe you're kind of right—but you can cross-stitch yourself one of the coolest custom [phone] cases we've ever seen.
I'm sorry, but at this point, I've completely lost count in the old ladies. I'm not even sure I remembered to tag all the posts. You can check if you want, but I'm calling this number eleventymillion in a series.
Elevntymillion is a nice, round number. Nope, not bored yet!
ReplyDeleteWhat's a "nursing home artist"? Someone who make conceptual art out of old lady cardigans, cups of tea and the smell of cabbage?
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother hated anything handmade and especially hated needlework and crafts...her specialty was cleaning and snoozing and in general creating havoc in the live's of those around her. Yay grandma!
ReplyDeleteGeez, what kind of misguided people write these articles anyway. Well, I'm not tired of seeing them, but I wish these people would get into the program.
ReplyDeleteROFLMAO
ReplyDeleteI'm calling myself a "Nursing Home Artist" from now on...I think I curse too much to be a Puritan =)
But why? Why would anyone spend their time stitching such a thing? I can't imagine how long it would last. It will be a grubby worn mess in a matter of weeks.
ReplyDeleteOY.

Too bad these people arent' aware that you can actually get a degree in embroidery in England, then, become employed stitching finery for the royal family of one of the houses of couture.
ReplyDeleteJeez!

Oh honestly. Seems to me people create using many techniques, and enjoy using their creative talents. Art speaks, you just need to listen. If you are too busy to take time exploring what is in front of you, shame on you + stop being negative about having a small brain and speaking out about things you don't understand. Keep your small minded opinions to yourself.
