Snowless Snowman

Despite being super busy this weekend, I managed to finish a little something. I picked up the missing color for Snowman '10 on Friday. I love the colors in this one!

I spent Friday evening trying to make appliqued onesies for a Saturday shower. Fail! First thing Saturday, I went to the nearby Carter store and had to wait until they opened to buy two outfits. I raced home, wrapped the present, and the dude dropped me off at my ride's house. After the baby shower, I made these meatballs, and we went into the city for dinner with friends--a great time! Sunday, I cleaned the house and everyone came over for two birthday celebrations.

You can imagine I was happy to pick up my needle for an hour or two once everyone had left. Even happier, there was a finish!

  6. I have a birthday card I would love to send your grandmother, but I need to know where to send it. I tried to click on the link to email you from your profile page, but my computer didn't like that. That's the story of my life - my good intentions were thwarted by my computer!

  7. Well, I ordered the snowman. Looks as if there's beading suggested? Theoretically, in the next year or two, it will get stitched and made into a stocking. Because what I really need at this point in my life is another craft to get into.

  11. cute snowman and trees - they are sweet!! Is this a Bent Creek pattern? Love your story about the library interview...can't wait to hear more once the story is posted/published. And I agree, it is so very hard to part with comfortable, broke in to fit me clothes! Those are the kind I am always sorry I didn't buy two, maybe in different colors.
