November Ending

November:
  • finish-finish one piece--done. This is an oldie from the JCS Ornament issue. Edited: It's the June Grigg ornament from the 1998 edition.
  • learn to crochet--the plan was to do this at the library, but I missed one week to make the advent calendar and we didn't meet this past week either. I guess time just got away from me.
  • ten hours on That Dern Parrot--I'm very near the end now. I have one flower left and the border.
  • ten hours on Off the Deep End--done.
  • ten hours on the marquoir--no.
  • blog every day for NaBloPoMo--almost 29/30.
I would like to thank those of you who visited from NaBloPoMo and who became followers. I'd also like to thank my loyal commenters this month. It is especially hard to post every day when you think no one is reading! For that reason, I am especially sorry that I wasn't better at leaving a note of appreciation for other NaBlowers this month.

 December:
  • Make and send Christmas cards. How is it that I haven't made Christmas cards since October? I have to get moving!
  • finish two CJC projects
  • finish two WIPs
  • learn to crochet

  5. I think you did a great job NaBlowing. I find your posting of your monthly progress inspiring but it never seems to last after I jump off your blog. Maybe it will stick for me next year. That parrot is looking wonderful.

  7. Congrats on the NaBlowing! I did read them all but didn't comment so much.
Madame Muriel is keeping me busy!
Your Best Pal's new blog looks interesting.
If I keep stuff long enough, can I be an archivist instead of just a hoarder?!!

  9. Love your Joy finish and the parrot. I admire your monthly goal-setting and progress monitoring. I'm not going there, though. I'm a wimp.

Ooh, I love June Grigg's Joy. Someday, I might even get around to stitching it. Congratulations on a great finish-finish
