The third project to make the trip to England was the Folk Art Threadkeep. I did a lot of work on it during the first week of our trip. I finished the willow trees while watching Agatha Christie mysteries with my MIL. Back in September 2008, it looked like
this.
Unfortunately, I put the year on when I started. Maybe I can sneak the finish date onto it somewhere.

I love all of these - so cool!
ReplyDeleteThat is really a pretty piece, Anna.
ReplyDeleteI like that design--don't think I've seen it before.
ReplyDeleteI love things with willow trees!
ReplyDeleteWonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks great.
ReplyDeleteOne of my own finishes last year had the starting date on, I think it adds to the 'story' behind the piece, and with us documenting our stitching via our blogs, will give the historians something to discuss ;o)
This piece is beautiful!

Lovely. I think you sneak in a finish year some place. This is why I usually leave the year to the very last...LOL.
ReplyDeleteDonna, I usually do too but it was in the middle!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! How big is this one?
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you manage to do any stitching, let alone WIP - or, dare I say it? - UFO stitching when you're travelling. But you made great progress and this particular piece is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty - and it looks like you made good progress on it!
ReplyDeleteIt was a pleasure to discover your blog and see so many gorgeous embroideries.
ReplyDeleteI really like this piece, and you made great progress. Who designed it? I don't remember ever seeing it, and I'd like to see it finished.
