If it seems like I no longer write this blog, it's because I have been stitching. Shock!The other day I went to lunch with a friend who is newly unemployed and she is loving it! Mostly, I think, it's because she is doing those things that you always say you would do if you didn't have to work. So I decided to be more conscientious and do those things I always said I would do. Like sit on my ass and stitch. I've been pretty successful, as you can see.

It looks great Anna. Love the color of her dress! Hope you continue to sit on your ass and stitch. I told myself I would 12 years ago - still haven't done it.

ReplyDeleteGood for you. I know when I was temporary between jobs-twice for a month each time the past 2 years, I loved having the time to sit on my ass and stitch. Almost finished a Mira both times. But then I had the luxury of knowing I would be going back to work, just didn't know exactly when.
ReplyDeleteIt is a good time to get a lot of things done, and it does make you feel good about that aspect of things.
