The Strawberry Sampler called on Saturday to say the pieces I brought in during their May framing sale were ready. Yay! I hopped right in the car so not another minute would go by without these lovelies in my house.

Now I have about ten framed pieces for my stairway gallery. I need my mom to come help me hang. She has a way with these things.

Happily I have filled my second "discount card" at the store and will get 20% off. I have about 60 more pieces that need to be finished, mostly framed...

  2. YAY, framed finishes. They look great Anna, I have You are my sunshine in my stash, and have had it a while now, and it is still a favourite.

  5. Beautiful. I wish I could go and pick up 4 framed pieces. Maybe if I got a "real" job?

  7. Oh, those are great! My favorite is Trio of Hearts. The frames complement them all beautifully, but T of H has my favorite frame.

Now I don't feel so bad! I have about 20 pieces waiting a sewing finish and just brought my two last "framables" to the framer. Of course, I have 27 framed pieces that I have yet to hang because I still haven't finished the kids' old bedrooms [I have been an empty nester for two years now] into a craft room and a home office. Even so I will have to rotate my framed pieces ... rather like a museum having special exhibits.

I am off for two weeks and will be working on declutterring the two former bedrooms that have somehow become "junk" rooms over the past two years and I will tackle some of the sewing finishes. If I ever learn to use Photobucket I may even manage to get some pictures up on my own blog ... learning to use Photobucket is one of my June goals ... only a week left to meet that one.

Girl, you've been busy!! They all look fabulous and I can't wait to see what your mother creates with your works of art!

As for the hog salad, let it thaw a bit, but it starts to melt rather quickly...usually, it's almost all-eaten by then. Enjoy!

Your finishes look great! They are all so colorful.

I'm almost inspired to get my unfinished stitched pieces out of the box under the bed...

  14. Oh they all look great! My favourite is You Are My Sunshine, I just love this chart and hope to stitch it one day! I've been singing this song for couple of days now for everyone in the family and I think they don't want to hear it anymore :D

  15. Isn't it exciting getting pieces back from the framer! I develop an entirely new appreciation for things once they are 'finished'. Don't forget to take a picture of your stairway gallery!

  18. They always do a bang up job with framing, and they're not TOO expensive (but that discount card sure helps, as do the sales!)

And gee, thanks for being such an enabler. The Sunshine one is going on my wishlist too.

  21. Oh they all look beautiful! You'll definitely have to post a photo of the wall once they are all proudly displayed. If I finished things, I would have framing to do too!!
