I didn't spend a lot of time on this yesterday. As you know, I was off gallivanting in the afternoon, so I didn't get to this until after dinner. But I had a hard time putting it down! I love the colors.
Snow today. And I've spent most of today cleaning for the family dinner tomorrow. We're having picadillo from the crockpot with rice and a salad. For an hors d'oeuvre, a Stonewall Kitchen cheeseball. And dessert will be chocolate cherry bars. Contingent of course that someone can go grocery shopping at some point.

Love that icy blue! You guys are really getting hammered with the snow - we've not had too much and I hope it stays that way!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your dinner tomorrow - sounds delicious!
You've chosen a lovely variety of projects. I can see why you are loving the colors of Winter Peace, very soothing!
ReplyDeleteYour menu for tomorrow sounds yummy! Have fun!
Pretty start, Anna! And I have to grin sympathetically at your post yesterday with the oddly-marked design. The $70 lunch sounded fun!
ReplyDeleteI like the colors in this one! The heck with the other stuff - what time should I show up for dessert??
ReplyDeleteGreat start...love the colors!
ReplyDeleteThis is a cool pattern and I look forward to seeing the progress...
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a very fun day - sometimes we just have to do what we have to do!
This is so pretty so far! I love the swirly running line (no clue what else to call it- I don't know what it actually is because I've never seen this pattern before)....great work!
ReplyDeletePretty! I love the colors on this one and that swirl. We're actually getting snow here too, if you can believe it!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors, too! Of course, I'm not surprised that you would pick something squirrely, I mean swirly. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty start -- the colors are so cool and soothing.
