Summer of Love: Summer Loving

We've heard from the winner of the first giveaway, Ladybeans, and the name is taken from her dearly departed dogs. I still think we might use it to describe body parts, but I'm not sure which ones.

On to the second:
My next giveaway of my well-used charts reflects my family's love of the beach. My mother lives not on one but on two beaches. Which seems pretty greedy.

X-Appeal, Call of the Ocean * Yankee Stitcher, By the Sea * Trail Creek Farm, Summer Freebie (and some other freebies stapled onto it) * A Whimsical Element, Flip Flop Fun * Workbasket, Mermaid's Call * Erica Michael's Signs of Summer.

It turns out that I will be able to have one give away a week throughout the summer, so let's call it the "Summer of Love." It will be, if you consider getting--what's the opposite of gently used?--ridden hard and put away wet?--hard-done-by charts, Love. And we will.

I'll post on Thursdays and draw on Tuesday. As long as your name is in before I draw it on Tuesday, you're in! This post only and all that.

  2. Gotta put my name in for this one I think! How nice for your mom that she both winters and summers by the beach - a good life indeed if you ask me!

  8. I'd love some beach-y charts.
I want to stitch something for my daughter who is attending college in the Monterey Bay area - she can see the ocean from her dorm room!
    thanks!

  9. No need to include me ... but knowing your interest in anything on the outer fringes of cross-stitch ... just wanted to alert you to the book of 30 cross stitch charts by Ed Hardy that will be available shortly. I know he designs t-shirts but judging by the cover art on the book, his true calling is designing biker tatoos.

  11. I'd love to be entered into this draw please - despite living almost as far inland as it is possible to do in England, I'm very fond of the sea and related imagery - ancestors were lighthousekeepers and harbourmasters and the sea's in my blood :o)

  19. Oh - I'm an ocean addict - though stuck in landlocked Minnesota! I have some sea themed stitching done already, but more would be better.

Besides - that mermaid is one of the things that drew me to your blog.

    Thanks for the opportunity,

    Mary

  21. Oh, I'd love a chance for your "not so" gently used charts in the Summer of Love draw. Now I can't get the song from "Grease" out of my head - Summer Lovin', had me a blast....
    Thanks for the generous drawing.

  22. I'm delurking to say enter me please! I love the beach, having grown up with a holiday house at a very quiet beach. Some days we would get the whole beach to ourselves. The Summer of Love is a great name :-)
