Ortilda, The Spectacular Finish

I have spent so much time on the couch nursing this cough, that my first three day rotation produced results! May I present Ortilda the Witch?

That's a dye mark, not a wrinkle, bisecting the fabric. I think she's terrific!

Details:
Twisted Threads kit (from 1998!)
Sampler Threads for stitching
Thread Gatherer "Wild Hairs" for her orange perm
R&R reproductions linen 30 count Over the Hill Purple
Based on original art by Emerson Quillen Designs

Congratulations on your finish! Ortilda looks fabulous on her purple fabric with her orange curls. I do hope you are feeling better.

Adorable, Nikki! How'd you stitch that hair? It looks great.

Feel better!

Hi Kristen,
It's all in the thread. It's called Wild Hairs by Threadgatherer. If I had to describe it, I'd say it looked like a Persian lamb coat and DMC had a baby. Unfortunately, it looks like she doesn't make it any more. More's the pity.

Terrific, yes, that's the perfect word for her :) I love witches and when they have an orange perm all the more. Great finish.
